Privacy, but in our voice

What we store, what we do not, and why our privacy policy is shorter than most apartment leases.

Our privacy policy is short. This is not because we are lazy. It is because we do not do much with your data, and we would like that fact to be obvious.

What we store

  • Your name (the one you put on the card).
  • Your Gmail address (so we can hand you the same card back next time).
  • An optional profile photo (only if you upload one).
  • The state, city, alias, and slogan you provide.

What we do not store

  • Your email’s contents, your contacts, your calendar, your drive, your photos, your location history, your search history, your purchase history, or anything else from your Google account.
  • Third-party trackers. We have none. We are not running Meta Pixel or Google Ads or any other acronym that ends badly.
  • Behavioral data. We do not know what you clicked, where you scrolled, or how long you lingered on the manifesto. We genuinely do not.

What you can do

You can delete everything we have, at any time, from your dashboard. One button. We do not have a “retention period” because we do not retain anything beyond what is necessary to give your card back to you.

If you have questions, write to support@cockroachjanataparty.example. A real person reads that inbox. They are mildly grumpy, but they read it.
